If you know much of the history of Rwanda, you may realize that Rwanda is a land with a painful past but yet tremendous hope for the future.  Ministry of Hope Rwanda recognizes both the needs and the possibilities, especially as God sees fit to provide, and we desire nothing more than to be the Lord's hands and feet here in our home country.

Hope in the Midst of HIV/AIDS

The entire world realizes how devasting HIV/AIDS can be, and few places know that more painfully than our home country of Rwanda.  Ministry of Hope Rwanda desires to be the hands and feet of our Lord to those around us who are suffering from this horrible disease.

Hope in the Midst of Poverty

In the year 2000, over 60% of the population of Rwanda was living beneath the national poverty line.  Ministry of Hope Rwanda desires to be the hands and feet of our Lord to the people of our home country of Rwanda who bear the burden of poverty.

Hope for Unity and Reconciliation

In 1994, our very own people of Rwanda unleashed on ourselves an onslaught unrivaled in the history of the world.  Ministry of Hope Rwanda desires to promote a peaceful change of mind in Rwanda and to seek a brighter future.

Hope for Community

Ministry of Hope Rwanda desires to help our communities help our communities by focusing on things like agriculture, livestock, environment, economics, family planning, and the like.

Ministry of Hope Rwanda

Ministry of Hope is a Christian non-governmental organization founded in 2004 by a group of Christians from Butare area in the Southern region of Rwanda.

OBJECTIVE

Our objective is to work with the poor and vulnerable people, building their capacities so that they may improve their living standards, restore their dignity and have hope for the future.

MISSION

Our mission is integral and holistic: We believe that flesh and soul should not be distinguished in evangelization, because we believe that people can improve their living standards, eradicate poverty using Bible principals.

APPROACH

We use a participatory approach and a community-based development, where beneficiaries are involved in all steps of project implementation.
 

HIV Education

A youth club named Integuza was formed; they are using dramas for sensitizing communities about HIV and AIDS issues.
